Freaking funny!

People who understand Singlish, please go and read 'Talk Cock' by Rockson Tan. Hafta say that has become my staple feed of the lastest happenings in Singapore.

For now, it's the Elections. Yeah hor, I didn't even realize it's happening now. Come to think of it, my mum was just telling me over the phone the other day that I got 600 free from the government. But must go set up a bank account then automatic can draw out liao. (Shit, read Rockson too much, now also write Singlish!)

Seriously, I always thought elections in Singapore are jokes man. What is this? No fixed election dates and districts. Only announce the actual election dates damn close to the actual thing, like the opposition party can prepare...as if! Then before the election, redraw all the GRCs and what not. Live in Holland become Bukit Batok GRC. Wah take bus also half an hour then reach loh. Sigh... what can I say?

Last night pulled an all nighter again. It was pretty fun though... I must say. We found an empty classroom in Kent. It's really not bad. Big room with huge tables and many chairs. Big enough for us to through our things around. Then when we are bored, I took this Hokkien test on someone's blog. I must say, I pretty much suck at Hokkien. Sounded like angmohs trying to speak Chinese...

Here I am sitting in Kent 511... waiting for 9am to come. Why? cos Broadway (my dorm) has a fire alarm drill at 9am. Is the administration crazy?!? It's freaking study week and Friday before most finals start... and they wanna test the freaking fire alarm?!? Can't they do it another time? Or at least move it to noon or something.

So I have been camping in Kent the entire night. Still feeling with 'genki'...dunno why. But that's good. It's so much easier to study in the evening!

Ok so I think I didn't really inform everyone that I'll be doing a summer internship at JP Morgan for Corporate Finance at the New York office. Now you know...if you didn't already=) And today we got our final group placement. CHR!!! (Consumer/Healthcare/Retail) yeah I got it... "happy" is the only word I can say.

Why I feel so strongly about this? I guess cos I'm REALLY REALLY into the healthcare industry. Thanks to EDB, I learnt loads about the big pharmas and biomed developments in Asia, and also realized there's tons more fascinating details about this industry. I suppose I would have been contented wherever I ended up. People at Industrials are awesome. So is FIG, Sponsors & TMT. But healthcare is where my passion lies... at least for now=)

Now to less serious stuff... I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THE SUMMER!!! esp. after receiving the CF intern contact list and getting to know the other interns. Everyone's super excited and enthusiastic, which I'm really glad about. WE HAVE A BLOG! Are we the first for this batch? I think so...heh=) And that even stirred up some hoo-haa on another online wall street tabloid.
