CM offsite...

To those of you who doesn't know what it means... it's an EDB thing, where the chief management 'disappears' for 2 days to brainstorm for ideas. Our entire division is gone, except for the 3 interns and the JOs... which leaves me with more room to clear what's on the table and tie the bits & pieces together. A little too quiet though...

For those who are leaving this week, we had a lunch gathering yesterday at an Indian restaurant. It was loads of fun! less 'cos of the food than the hilarious conversations we had. A group of us were having 'heated' converstaion over bgr. I'm a poor storyteller but u've gotta admit that the simplest comments can become a joke when u have 2 different species giving their thoughts about the same thing. u realise that our brains r wired totally differently.

1. out for food: WHO PAYS?!?
2. pre-marital pregnancy: TO ABORT OR NOT TO ABORT?!?
3. what makes a GOOD KISSER?!?

These may seem to be extremely common topics but seriously, the jokes r funny when 5 pple seemingly high-on-water starts rambling. esp. towards the end when we incorporated very EDB jagons, ie. value-add, value chain, outsourcing. Haha 'cos Hau Yee was talking about couples going to movies, with the couple seats in mind. Guys, we r already going to movies with u, why r you still thinking of value-adding? The argument is, of course we have to move up the value chain, if not why do we pay twice of $9.50 on the weekend for? BGR is like the entire value chain... from R&D to clinical trials to eventual production. It's the entire economy! Even though production cost in Singapore may be high, we still gotta sustain manufacturing!!! *grinz* Outsourcing is not an option!
